Plain and simple. I'm a down-to-earth girl who loves to laugh...a lot. I'm very family oriented, and I absolutely love spending time with my niece and nephew when I get the chance. I finally found a profession that I am very passionate about. I studied abroad for an academic year when I was a junior in college, and it made a huge impact on my life. My mom always likes to say that my year abroad made me a much "bolder" person. I am very driven, and I have been fortunate enough to fall into a career that allows me to help send more students abroad. I get to advise students, administer study abroad programs and travel abroad! Outside of work, I love spending time with my family and have a good group of friends. I have just started training to run my second half marathon and am hoping that my black lab puppy, Ruby, will be able to start running with me soon without tripping me every 10 steps. :)

I don't have a very specific idea for a first date, but I would definitely want it to be interactive. I think bowling or playing pool would be a good ice breaker activity. It really is the little things that add up with anything you do. If someone has put thought into an event, then I think that says a lot about that person. I'm really not high maintenance...pretty easy to please. One of my favorite first dates was with someone who took me to a driving range and taught me how to hit a golf ball. I have to be honest and say that I really wasn't sure how much fun it would be, but I ended up having a blast! I love trying new things, and I'm a very competitive person, so failure is not an option for me. I always try and think to myself, What would we attempt in life if we thought we would never fail?
