I am a very socially active grandmother that has a full-time job and I do jail ministry for women part-time. I love to hear laughter and I love to see a smile, especially from someone who seems to have everything working against him or her. I am an eternal optimist and the glass is always half full.

I have many female friends but due to my schedule I do not meet new faces. I am looking for a male friend to go to dinner, a show, or to just have conversation over coffee. I would like someone who is also very committed in their life that can understand social and employment commitments without issue. Basically, I am looking for a man who needs his space while respecting my space.

My son is overseas, and when I began to write him another letter I realized that while my life is happy it is also very redundant. I am looking for a special someone. Someone to look forward to - something outside of coffee with the girls and another pizza and a DVD. Frienship first; then if long term romance happens it happens.

What makes me unique is not something in particular, but the parts of a friendship that are special to another individual. I am always unique in the Eyes of God :). I accept people for who they are. I can't change anyone.

As for my taste in music, I mainly listen to Christian, Classical, 60's Hits, Easy Listening, some Country, R&B, and my grandchildren's band concerts. My favorite artists are Rod Stewart, Janis Joplin, Otis Redding, Norah Jones, and NeedtoBreathe.

I enjoy quirky art as well as fine art. Love puns. Absolutely love flowers and flower gardening. Feel comfortable on a cruise ship or a raft on Montana's whitewater. I love life. I enjoy life. Lemons are for lemonade making.
