About Me
Well, Hello there. My name is Bart. Yes I am truly European. But I have lived in this wonderful country for a better part of my life.
So I guess you could call me an accidental Canadian. But let's get to the point of this whole self description.
Well I am 32, pretty athletic, blue eyes and blond hair(or rather what is left of it...lol) I am around 5'9" and medium build.
I have a wide variety of interests ranging from music ( I play cello and piano), art, literature( Clive Barker is one of my favourite writers ), cuisine ( yes I do know how to cook ) through movies and good tv. I forgo most of the reality tv though. Simply because it seems a little lazy. I do appreciate a good script and performance of actors.
I am a bit of a geek but in today's day and age you have to be with computers, home theaters and so on. That's not to say that I am afraid of powertools or anything like that. I am not totally lost when it comes to doing stuff around the house so to speak. And since I live by mylself I do clean and do laundry and dishes.( when you come to think of it I'd make a good housewife...lol. ) I have been raised the old fashion way, I do say bon appetite and thank you at the beggining and the end of the meal. I chew with my mouth closed and my elbows are never on the table. I am fond of the fork and a knife and I hardly ever make a meal where I don't use neither. I open doors and try to be polite and curtious to everyone. I strive to treat others the same way I'd like to be treated.
However there are some things out there that drive me mad. Some of them are; bad drivers, a**hole drivers who think that the road is theirs, people on bicycles not respecting the rules of the road, people that don't say thank you when you open and hold doors for them or when people try to jump a line and few others.
Also I appreciate when people write out their profiles in full sentences and with proper spelling. I have learned this language and try to use it the right way. So if your profile has "U" instead of You and "UR" instead of Your then chances are that we would not get along. You can save that for text messaging or for twitter when you let everyone know that your cat Mr. Fluffy just pooped.
I do have a cartain fondness for video games, and off the wall art, I do like tattoos even though I don't have one but I am looking forward to getting one in the future.
I have no children and no crazy ex's so I am drama free. I enjoy a wide range of music, beginning with classical through jazz, modern and contemporary classical, classic rock, new age, electronica, house, trance, progressive, drum and bass, acid jazz and funk, to classic metal, death metal, doom metal speed metal, and many others.
