I've been reevaluating what I want out of my life lately, and it pretty much boils down to this-- no drama and a good time (which doesn't translate into "he's a man-whore or anything similar). Good times = good memories. That's all.

This is me:
I like to have fun. I like to laugh. As a matter of fact, I'm often loud and obnoxious when I am having fun, unfortunately, some women find that a turn off.

I can be quiet because I like to think. Sometimes I don’t feel like talking, but it doesn’t mean I don’t want to communicate. I’d rather think about what to say than just say something I’ll regret.

I enjoy spending time with my friends as well as with myself. It's just part of who I am.

I need alone time now and again.

I don't mind drinking or smoking (occasional) cigars. I am not a drunk, but if there's a party, I will have a good time. I enjoy a good time, especially with friends at a bbq or a kickback.

I am a sarcastic guy. It's part of my sense of humor. I hope you can dish it out and take it, too. Sometimes, it’s too much for people. I met one woman on here who said, "I can't stand a boorish sense of humor in a man." My response was, "You can't stand men, then."

I love kids, but have yet to decide whether I want one. I’m not opposed to having children, but I won’t have one just for the sake of making a mini-me of myself. Besides, kids cost money, and I am not rich. If I can't provide for one, I won't have one. It kind of sucks, but that's the truth. But if you have one, it's cool.

I am brutally honest and blunt (but I am not arrogant). It probably comes with the sarcasm. I don't hold back when I have an opinion. It doesn't mean I'll degrade yours, but I will speak my mind if I think strongly enough about it.

I can be quite shy at the weirdest times. I am more comfortable around people I know, and if a room is full of strangers, I need a minute or two to warm up.

I don't like overweight women. I also don't like women who are exercise freaks. There is more to life than being a gym rat or a couch potato. Oh, and if you are a vegan or a vegetarian, that’s great, but I’ll never change my carnivorous ways. ;)

I know I am no 10 on the hunk scale, ladies, but I'm not bad looking, either.

Also, I believe in communication. If you can't talk about your feelings, then that's an issue for me. I'm not a mind reader--no man is.

There is nothing more awkward then being on a dinner date that isn't working out. And movies don't allow us to talk. I prefer to meet for drinks or a Starbucks. Sometimes a drink date turns out great conversation that leads to other activities, and sometimes we both quickly realize we can cut bait and keep looking.
