I am an easy going woman who avoids drama. I enjoy having fun by going places and participating in healthy activities that allow me to take my mind off of work. Basically, I am a responsible lady, who enjoys ending the work week on a positive note. I like to "let my hair down and have fun" on the weekends. I enjoy everything from a nice bike ride around most any part of town to a weekend get away out of town. It is also nice to catch some local artists exhibiting their work, go to a concert (most genres) or theatrical performance, view an interesting or funny film, check out a museum, explore an outdoor preserve or park, kayak in our wonderful waterways, sail, or motorboat will do, maybe camp here in Florida or lodge in the mountains. I even enjoy the occasional fishing trip! I'm not afraid to hike w/o having the amenities of home for a few days.

Sometimes I like to wear my high heels or flip flops. It just depends on the occasion. I am a "girly" girl, but by no means "high maintenance". I enjoy tapping into my creative side through art, painting, sculpture, or gardening. Yoga and walking are my stress releases.

The kitchen is my friend where I enjoy discovering new dishes or preparing some continental classics. I'm a bit picky when it comes to eating out...the food must be fresh! I do, however, enjoy any type of food (fast food is not real food.) Imported beers are nice, along with a variety of wines. Water...and plenty of it, is good for the body!

My music taste is so wide in most genres and too many favorites to name. I do enjoy music tremendously, especially a good live performance.
My taste in film is most anything that is NOT a blockbuster hit. Again, too many favorites to name.

Goals and aspirations are very important to me. I plan to do three things within the next three years:
1. learn to sail
2. hike out West (summer trip to Colorado is planned)
3. travel to an Asian country
I love everything about learning! I plan to further my studies in Art History, or become a slave to the studio. Both choices will require a couple more years of my life in order for me to reach one of my long term goals. It will more than likely mean that I will relocate to a college where I am accepted. I am seeking a Florida school with a master's program in Art.
I am a mother of two daughters. therefore I do lead by example. My girls do not define me, but rather compliment me. My college girl is off to a wonderful start in a new chapter of her life! I do have a younger daughter at home with me. She is busy dancing, dreaming, exploring, and simply being. They are a part of my life that remain private until a certain comfort level has been established if i should meet someone special ( God only knows when that will happen). My daughters know only their father as the important male figure in their lives right now. We both are still good parents, so no drama there.

Please no pipe dreamers! I don't mean to be rude, but I really don't want to waste my time (or yours).
Remember, I am looking for an intelligent gentleman. if you have interests of your own that I have not noted, please feel to pique my interest. Just keep it clean. If I want trash then I'll go find it in a bar somewhere.

I would love to meet at an art opening or a museum. Maybe an eatery with outdoor seating so we could enjoy our beautiful weather. See if conversation goes well, and then consider dinner. It also may be fun to meet at and outdoor event, go for a boat ride, sail, bike ride, and then have a picnic. If all does go well, then perhaps dinner and an evening drink. If you're into wine tasting, that may be fun too. Beer will work. Coffee is good, I enjoy tea as well. You know what I already wrote about water. Most of all, good conversation to begin!
