I'm a nerd at heart, but not in the don't shower, pasty skin sorta way. I just have a drive to know how and why things work. I like to make things into other things, then staple them to a wall and shoot high powered lasers at them. I enjoy self-improvement of both the mind and body and love trying new things.

Lately I've been working with a local artist to create projection shows that can be manipulated with laser pointers. I used to play upright bass in a band, and played years of piano so I have a appreciation for all things musical. Other things I like to do with my time include taking the camera out while hiking or mountain biking, doing some martial arts or dancing, catching a good live performance (especially if I'm assisting with a projection) or a movie, a bit of juggling (good for the hand-eye-foot-face coordination), or playing some video games.
