About Me
Well, let's see, I currently work 2 jobs and I'm enrolled at WSU in the graphic design program, buuuuuuuut lately I've been thinking about switching majors, so we'll see. Art is a BIG hobby of mine but I'm also a huge perfectionist so I barely ever finish anything. I do all types of things from drawings, paintings, sculptures, a little bit of photography, etc. A couple projects that I've been working on are a series of Dexter-ish blood-spatter like paintings and a large portrait of Stewie from Family Guy for one of my best friends. I love music. Mostly rock (alternative, punk, indie, folk stuff), some rap, some pop (for some reason I haven't been able to get Lady GaGa's "Paparazzi" out of my head for like a week now), and a little bit of country. Oh yeah, and I HATE jazz. Uuuuuck! Jazz is one of those things that just instantly gives me a headache. Some of my favorite bands are Brand New, City & Colour, Say Anything, Damien Rice, Muse, The Fray, Anberlin, Ozzy, etc. I'm also a HUGE fan of the movies. I'll pretty much watch any movie at any time. Some of my faves are The Dark Knight, Fear And Loathing In Las Vegas, The Departed, Across The Universe, O Brother Where Art Thou?, Natural Born Killers, etc. I could literally go on forever. I'd love to get into the movie/entertainment industry, no matter what aspect of it. It's kind of my passion at the given moment. I love going out to different bars and trying new beers. Beer tasting is turning into a big hobby of mine. However, I hate going to clubs. Clubs and me do not mix well together. I get claustrophobic in them for some reason. And when I get that way I turn into a completely different person. Not good.
As far as what makes me unique, well... um... I guess I'm kind of a complex guy. On first impression people probably think that I'm very shy but I'm actually quite the opposite once I feel like I've got a good idea of who a person is. Trust me, I can be quite the goof-ball. I love making people laugh and smile. I'll do just about anything to accomplish that. And I really mean ANYTHING. But that's not to say that I'm never a serious person. I'm a very good listener. I can pick up on people's emotions quite easily so one of my biggest pet peeves is when I ask someone "what's wrong?" and they say "nothing". I hate that. I believe in being as honest and open as possible about everything. But, as I'm sure it is with most people, there are some things about myself that I prefer to keep to hidden. I'm the kind of person that likes to have a broad spectrum of friends. I've never really felt like I've ever fit in with a certain clique so having friends from all different walks of life makes me feel almost "complete", ya know. I'm also a bit of a hopeless romantic too. I love spoiling a girl, and I don't mean that in the context of buying her a ton of shit. I firmly believe that it's the little things that count. Like buying flowers every now then or renting her favorite movie and cuddling up on the couch with some popcorn... but I hate popcorn so she can have it all lol.
My ultimate test for a girl would be whether or not she could get me to ride a rollercoaster. I've been terrified of rollercoasters all my life and if she could convince me that I'd be safe and that it'd be fun I marry her on the spot.
But yeah, I don't want to give away everything about myself so I'll leave it at that. If you'd like to know more then feel free to message me. I don't come on here all too often but I'll try to get back to you as soon as I can.
First Date
I'm not sure, I don't really date all that much. Any place that we could sit down and talk and still have a little fun would be perfect. Going out to eat or to grab some drinks would be good. Getting some cheap concert tickets and going to a show would be cool too. I love going to places like downtown Plymouth or Ann Arbor to hang out and just walk around town. I've always wanted to go to one of those wine tasting shops that are popping up all over the place. I find that interesting and kind of classy. But I don't really like wine... so that may be a problem lol.
