Once more into the breach...

Hello ladies. My name is Michael. I am 45. I have been gainfully employed,(by the same employer even !) for the last 9 years and I love my job. I have two children, my son is 18 and basically trying out life at the moment. My daughter is 14, just started high school and lives with me half of the week. I am seperated for over a year and my ex no longer lives in the area, so there is zip, zero, no chance of a reconcillation.

I am a really nice guy who loves to cook. I love to laugh and have fun. I am not much of a party/club kind of guy but I am willing to give it a shot. I like to read a lot. I am a MSNBC junkie, libral democrat, somewhat devout Catholic. I am a total sci fi/superhero/horror film geek.

I am looking for a woman who is funny, smart, independent, and can keep up with me. There are many things I want to do and I would love to find a wonderful woman to do them with.

I would like to go someplace quiet, perhaps lunch or coffee, followed by a walk in park or even the zoo if the weather is nice. Basically, anything where we can TALK and get to know one another. Spend actual time together with as little distractions as possible.
