Everyone has a story, what's yours?

I have found someone I find interesting romantically and am looking to pursue that. I'd rather not play the field but would rather spend all my romantic energy in developing this. Maybe it's silly to put all my eggs in one basket, but frankly this lady is worth it. Friends is what I'm looking for now. Mine so far is that I traveled a lot and took on a stressful job before becoming a student in a really demanding program. I don't always have a lot of free time during the week, but on weekends I like to hang out and have fun. What I consider fun changes every day, one day could be hosting a dinner party while the next could lead me to a Gregorian chant concert. Life is too short to be cynical about things (except FOX "news" and political pundits). Tomorrow's not promised that's what wise men say so let's seize each day. As an extrovert, I recharge my energy by meeting new people and going on random adventures. There's nothing better than having great conversations with complete strangers -except maybe doing that with gelati.

I'm fascinated by people who aren't afraid of doing their own thing regardless of normal convention. I, myself am a geek. On weekdays, I usually have my netbook, a small notebook, and a digital camera in my backpack just in case inspiration strikes. There's nothing worst than having a great idea and no way to remember it. I find that having all these things nearby helps me manage my goals and aspirations.

I'm a hopeful romantic. My life is great, but with the right long-term partner in crime it can become fabulous. The four main qualities that I seek in my partner in crime is versatility -she would have comfortable in any social situation, integrity -when she says something she truthfully means it, puts others ahead of herself -I naturally do this so it would be nice to have it reciprocated, and lastly is someone who's dependable.

As a former DJ, I listen to a wide range of music. Lately, I've been hooked on Soulwax, Girltalk, Dizzie Rascal, and the latest Tegan and Sara. I've been listening to various Teaching Company programs and stand-up comedy sets on my way to school lately.
