About Me
A bit about me: I'm an optimistic person, love life and am passionate in all aspects of it. Been told I'm at my best when helping others. Also been told I think too much! Ha! I am a deep thinker, Tis' true. Compassionate with a big heart and tend to look for the best in people, which has been known to bite me but oh well... one must persevere. I'm 5'6 blue eyes, blond hair. The pic of me with curly hair makes my hair look dark it is much lighter. About the smoking... I've recently picked it back up after being quit for years. I plan on being able to change that to not smoking soon. Oh, and I'm a good person. ;-)

I believe the little things in life Really Do Count the Most and should not be over looked or taken for granted. My greatest success in life without a doubt, has been raising my 3 children. I have grandchildren and absolutely adore them!! They are with no doubt the best of me, the light of my life and truly my greatest legacy. I'm humbled how blessed I am.
I enjoy a good adventure! Not into sitting on the couch all the time - life's too short, I'd prefer to live it before I die. Do watch sitcoms and movie's though. Hey, I'm old, the bones don't always keep up with the brain. ;- ) Football, Roll Tide! No to horror movies.
LOVE a good fire! In a fireplace or bonfire - I'm fascinated by it! Love all music - it feeds the soul. Little partial to the Blues & Rock/Roll though.
Enjoy rainy days and love snow! Curled up in front of a fire with good company, glass of wine or cup of hot choc and I could be considered very content. Love nature, walking through the woods or going to the park. Roxy (my boxer) goes with me, she's a great walking buddy.
Have seen a lot of the U.S. Maine, CO & AZ remain among my favorites.
To sum it up:
If I'm not laughing - I'm smiling. I'm an affectionate person and I will tickle you! I'm a cut up but have a serious side too.. can't stand the thought of hurting anyone.
I'm a sucker for poetry and cry during sad movies and have been known to lose my dog inside my own house. Almost always forget garbage day; usually I’m running to meet the truck! Know how to conduct myself in public, can hob-knob with the best of them. I'm not bad on the eyes and I don't rust if I get caught in the rain.

Who I'm looking for: A man who like myself, believes in honesty and loyalty. Someone who still dares to dream and laugh.
It would be grand to find someone to make a road trip with and us still like each other when we get back! ;- )
I can appreciate a hard working man that stands for what he believes in. Does not seek out confrontation but at the same time stand's his ground if the situation arises. A gentleman who is soft spoken an mild tempered who knows and believes in treating me as the lady I am - I am far from believing that chivalry is dead!
