I am new to Chicago and love to try new things, meet new people. I am from a small town in Iowa and wanted to try living in the big city. I also love all that the city has to offer me!

I love to run and have enjoyed running by the lake and different neighborhoods in Chicago. I have ran two marathons and hoping to run my third in 2010. I also like to bike and do any form of exercise outside. I tried water skiing for the first time this summer.

I am a big Chicago Cubs fan and enjoyed spending a lot of time in Wrigleyville this summer cheering on the team. As for my music taste; I like all music including country. I am enjoying the college football season this year but this past weekend was a big disappointment for me (as well as the whole state of Iowa) as my team had their first loss.

I think a nice dinner somewhere would be good. As I am finding out there are tons of nice restaurants in Chicago. Then it would be fun to do something active like playing minature golf or going for a walk.
