curious by nature. love laughing 'til my cheeks hurt. enjoy learning, both through reading and through my conversations with people. committed to optimism, but also pride myself in being pragmatic and realistic. just finished my 2nd masters degree but decided to do a bit more learning while i was in full gear. currently enrolled in a fellowship program at the institute for psychoanalysis. love my field and the people i have been able to work with. last year worked on the south side doing therapy with kids. they taught me more than any text book i opened...

random things i love: creative sushi, engaging smiles, hot and sweaty yoga, good tequila, humility, lazy sundays, productive sundays, loving the people around me, back-to-school supplies, discovering new music, being tactile, gritty dive bars with lots of character, pirate's booty, indie flicks, my morning latte, sunshine.

music is a huge part of my life. currently re-teaching myself to play the piano. i probably see about one live show a week. chicago is an amazing city for music and i try my hardest to take advantage of that! current favorites are miike snow, au revoir simone, wooden birds, the xx, sleigh bells, bon iver, band of horses, sunshine underground, manchester orchestra, passion pit, the national, radiohead....you get the drift ;)

looking for someone who loves to laugh. someone who can find pleasure in the exciting to the mundane (yes, the grocery store CAN be fun...). someone who can contribute to a conversation on social issues. a tennis partner for warmer weather. a sous chef (or head chef) in the kitchen. a baseball watching partner (if you love the red sox, xtra points for you). someone who is passionate about something- a hobby, a principle- that makes you smile when you tell me about it. a kind heart is a must and douchebags need not apply.
