I am a grounded, well rounded 33 year old man with many interests and hobbies (or potential hobbies if I had more time)! I have a physically demanding job and enjoy an active lifestyle and take good care of myself. A country boy at heart, I am just as comfortable in the big city. Living and having roots in the Kingston area is a satisfactory compromise for me despite my yearnings for both wide open spaces and cosmopolitan pursuits.

The most important person in my life is my beautiful 21 month old son. He means everything to me and is a whole lot of fun! I was raised to believe that family comes first and have strong ties with my large extended family despite the barriers of distance and time.

A nurturer by nature I love to look after plants, animals, and of course people. Yet, I realise that to nurture something or someone is a delicate endeavour and a certain amount of independance is required. For me, an ideal human, romantic, nurturing relationship would involve mutual respect, independance and most of all friendship with a strong physical bond. I am not someone who takes human relationships lightly and have a small number of close friends.

I readilly admit that I am a dreamer at heart and having many goals and asperations. Being the best father that I can be is tantamaount to success. Acieving personal and interpersonal goals is something that I actively pursue.

As far as how I like to spend my free time I enjoy being outside and active. I have been a frequent gym user in the past but prefer now to diversify my physical activities with other interests. I tried sea kayaking a couple of times this summer and loved it! I guess you could say that I am a home body of sorts, but I have a busy lifestyle away from home so when I can I like to be home with my boy. I enjoy getting out though and love trying new food and drinks.

For me a first date is an opportunity to get to know a person. Any number of activities could be included, but I think that the most important factor is being in an environment where both parties feel comfortable and socially stimulated. So I guess I would like to meet the person, go for a short walk on a busy street, grab a coffee in a quiet yet vibrant cafe and talk. I think that movies are fine too. I believe that you can learn alot about someone by taking in a movie and discussing it afterwards.
