One of the things that I feel very strongly about is always staying connected to projects that help others to accomplish their dreams or just being there to help. I am involved in the art of teaching others about conservation of water and how important it is to our future. When I'm ready to kick back these are a few of things that help me relax. I enjoy working with beads, mostly just making costume jewelry for myself and my daughter. I also like to work with my plants and flower beds. I guess digging in the dirt is fun, plus I can't get in trouble for getting dirty! :o) Now when I'm ready to do something really fun, I go out to listen to music and for some dancing. I love to dance to all different types of music; but my first love is tejano/conjunto music. Must be the hispanic in me. :o>

On a 1st date I like to see if there is definitely chemistry between myself and the person I'm with; see if we can connect. I don't exect for a man to be exactly like me, because that would be no fun, but it would be nice to have some things in common. It would be great to go to a quiet place, where we can hear each other without having to scream. I want to hear and be heard. Maybe a quiet dinner or have a drink on the river walk or maybe just some coffee at a cafe.
