Well, I would love to say that I was a reader from the cradle, but I didn't immediately take to reading, in fact my first memory of reading is in fact not being able to do it because I just didn't get how the syllables went together. But I got over that and reading remains my first love. I read everything from chick lit to thrillers, to historical fiction, to biographies. Overlapping with my love of reading is my love of history and literature(duh). I guess I would describe myself as a passionate history junkie who does numbers for a living, writes bad poetry when I am feeling down, and can't keep her mouth shut in a conversation if my conversation partner excites me. I am an accountant and although my job is insanely busy, I find it incredibly emotionally rewarding which is not something an accountant gets to say too often.

During a first date, I would hope to never run out of things to talk about, seemingly unimaginative idea but I highly value communication and that's something I pay close attention to especially on the first date. It can be casual or highly elegant. I equally love going to a coffee shop as I like going out to a cool restaurant.
