i am an old fashioned,well mannered,christian man looking for an upbeat,positive gal with a kind heart and old fashioned values. i have raised 4 kids of my own and consider myself to be an excellant dad,who would be proud to be a father figure to your kids if you have any. i am passionate about telling our kids that we love them and are proud of them, not just on their birthdays,but every day. let them know that they are loved,and they will feel worthy of being loved and able to give love as they grow older. my 2 oldest daughters continue to live with me. i really miss feeling like i am special to someone other than my own kids. i miss holding hands with someone i love. i have gained much wisdom in my lifetime. and only now,do i feel like i know what it is i want from life. a special lady is definitely a part of that plan. i am not one to have to be busy all the time. i love and enjoy the quiet times. i enjoy photography and nature walks. i like to travel a couple of times a year,usually heading for the mountains somewhere. last year i even went hot air ballooning through the teton mountains. i love to listen to some classic rock from the 70;s like reo speedwagon and styx as well as some contemporary christian rock like kutless or chris tomlin. my favorite food has to be anything italian,so if you can cook up a great italian meal,you are at the head of the class for me. i enjoy a good glass of wine and love attending wine tastings. if any of this sounds like a good time, please write to me and lets see what happens!

most of my "first dates" really are not dates but just a get together to see if there is any interest to continue after meeting and actually go out on a first date.these usually involve meeting at starbucks or a similar venue. if we decide to continue seeing each other,then a real first date would be something like dinner,walking at the mall,hiking,having a picnic,going for a cycle ride,disc golfing,or whatever it is that YOU want to do! ..........and please have an up to date phoTo! i really want to know who i am writing too.
