Hi! I recently just moved back to the Midwest from Portland, OR. I'm a native of Wisconsin and am now discovering the wonders of NW Indiana... :)
For the first time ever, I do not know a soul in the entire state, with the exception of my colleagues. I don't believe that I'll meet my potential mate at a bar and well, men don't approach ladies like they do in the movies; hence this posting.
I am an intelligent, witty, and pretty awesome person who is seeking a long-term relationship with a confident and equally as wonderful man.
PS - As wonderful as many less than 6'0" men are, I need someone with whom I can lay my head on their shoulder; I am 5'11"... and I love wearing heels.

Typical first date: Meet up at an ethnic restaurant, eat a bunch of food that neither of us could pronounce (or if you could, sweet props!), have a few drinks and talk until conversation runs dry or until the bar closes.
More fun date: Ride our bikes to Lake Michigan, play frisbee on the beach, dine on our picnic lunch, drink too much wine and play tag in the sand until the sun starts to set, and then book it back home.
"Shit, it's really cold in Indiana" date: Go to the planetarium and learn about constellations and planetary shift, discuss the plight of our world and what we intend to do with our time over dinner. Or, go check out Sue in Chicago!
