| | I am a somewhat shy person in public, yet different with people I know in private. Most of what "normal" society prizes I seem not to; success, money, etc. I am more concerned about figuring out the "why" of things. I suspect that if you understand yourself then all those other things will come if you want them.
The most recent movie I've seen that made me laugh out loud was Zach and Miri Make a Porno.
I am currently listening to Tori Amos - Midwinter Graces; Jim Croce; and Beck - Sea Changes.
Some of my favorite books are The Lord of the Rings, A Day in the Life of Ivan Denisovich, Dune, any Sherlock Holmes stories...
I am currently reading The Color of Magic by Terry Pratchett, a bunch of Incredible Hulk comic books, and a Carlos Castaneda book.
I think everything is really one thing.
My two closest friends in the world are a Baptist minister and a witch. (I got them in the same room once and it annoys the minister to no end that he likes the witch an awful lot).
I enjoy writing, but most of what I do are letters and essays.
Laughing is incredibly important.
Even though I currently have no pic up, I do have one that I can text if anyone finds themselves interested enough to ask. |

Truthfully, I am terrible on first dates because you are usually expected to go to a movie or a club, you know, places where you can't possibly talk or get to know someone. It sort of always feels like defeating the purpose. My desire would be to do something that allowed for actual communication. |
