I'm a pretty simple person. I believe people are good in general and give them the benefit of the doubt until they prove otherwise. I'm generally caring and compassionate, but I do take my own needs and feelings into account as well.

I find that I get along with a wide cross section of people. I don't think you could fit all of my friends into one single category. I really try to focus on the person and not the image. Family is also important to me and I am lucky to have one that is very caring and supportive.

I like to go to shows (music and comedy mostly), play sports and exercise, and spend time with people who are important to me. I like art (big fan of lowbrow art) and nature (love aquariums and other nature stuff, discovery channel is in my favorites). If you want to talk about the newest Lost episode I will have no idea what you are talking about, but if you want to talk about indie rock I might know, or I might swiftly go find out.

Usually I think a first date is something the lets the two people get to know each other. Going to a museum, or going to the zoo, maybe a baseball game or something like that. An activity where there is plenty of time to talk. I generally like to do what my date would like to do so that she feels comfortable. It's alright, I'm easygoing and enjoy about anything as long as it's good company.
