I like to go to plays, opera, concerts etc., love classical music, oldies with good lyrics, jazz with melody and harmony. Movies, books, history, playing woodwinds, biking, walking, traveling, esp. to Europe - have family in Tuscany, friends in London. I do lots of therapy, laugh too, teach at medical school, ideally want someone nearby whom I can be with during the week as well as on weekends. I am a mensch, a good parent, a liberal democrat, very generous, loving, understanding, and knowledgeable - and humble. I am curious, dig into everything, glad to be alive, consider myself very lucky. In my work, I like to heal people and see them grow.

First date: It depends since everyone is different because the chemistry between people is different. I try to please, but I like to hear, get to know my date, which means a quiet place where you can think and talk easily. A walk, coffee, a meal, sometimes I bring flowers, often not. Sometimes I cook, yes, on a first date - after several phone talks.
I want to know my date. I want my date to know me.
