I am Originally from Missouri, lived the last 10 yrs in the Pacific Northwest.I think Washington state is beautiful. I lived in an area called the Puget Sound, north of Seattle. I frequently would go to the Cascade Mountains and drive and hike the logging roads. My favorite was Mt. Baker and Mt. St. Helens. There is just a feeling of awe and respect standing on an active glacier/volcano.. don't miss all the rain, and grey sky.
I left a 500 client Mobile Grooming business after long consideration, decided upon the request of my son, to relocate my business back HOME...to be Grandma....He has been in the Army 11 years and 3 15 mo. tours in Iraq, it was the least I could do. The sacrafise he endured, it was the right decision. the only thing is the economy....But, I've been in business here about 7 months and it is holding its own.Growing more every day.
I love animals, especially dogs and horses. I enjoy my work and meeting people.
Have 2 grown sons, 28 and 25. I am very proud of them. I love family, I have 2 grandkids and 2 more on the way. I stay very busy running my business and being Grandma. But, I really would enjoy a friend to enjoy dinner, the outdoors and life.
I like old rock, country all kinds of music. I love to fish, float trips, camping, camp fires. I also love to horseback ride, and all animals except reptiles...I don't drive a motorcycle but love to be a passenger. Like long drives exploring the country.
I am a very hard worker, have been all my life. I have taken the opportunity to enjoy some too. Living in Troy, the history in the area . I enjoy exploring the caves in the Sullivan MO. area and the old farms is very enjoyable. I also like the southeast with the civil war history.
I guess I should write what I don't like, I don't like selfish people, drama, fighting, or users. I am 49 yrs old, and don't want to change anyone, or to be changed. I am comfortable with myself and don't need to be controled. But to be accepted for who I am and I will do the same for you.

Are there any men out there who really know how to treat a partner, lover, friend? In todays world people seem to be so self centered and worried about what they get and need out of a relationship, and all aspects of life. I enjoy the feeling I get by doing small thoughtful things to my friends, family and the one I love. Just once it would be nice for those things to be appreciated and not expected.
I wonder why so many men my age are on these dating sights, just looking. for a barbie doll type to show to their friends....don't just look at a photo and judge a woman my age. I am a young 49, I still feel young. I love to laugh, tease and have fun. Good conversation. Life is too short. Let enjoy it.

For a first date I would like to meet at a public place for coffee or lunch. I like to listen and get to know someone and start with friendship and see where it goes. I do not like to play games.
