Hi There! I'm 48, 5'6", physically fit, warm, and passionate, with medium length curly dark hair sprinkled with silver and green eyes. I moved to San Francisco in 1996 and would be content to live here for the rest of my life. It’s the perfect combination of a wonderful city with easy access to nature. Now all I need is a partner to enjoy it with!

Hiking on Mt. Tam & in Pt Reyes are among my favorite things to do along with bicycling up to Twin Peaks or over the Golden Gate Bridge into the Marin Headlands. There were 4 river otters in the Rodeo Beach Lagoon last Fall! Did you see them?
For city activities, I’m always up for exploring different neighborhoods, going to all kinds of restaurants, independent and foreign movies, and I’m a long-time subscriber to the City Arts & Lectures series at the Herbst.

At home you’ll likely find that NPR is on. Or you might find me curled up with a book - some that stand out from recent years include Michael Pollan's "The Omnivore's Dilemma”, Salman Rushdie's "Shalimar the Clown" and Haruki Murakami’s “Kafka on the Shore.”

I've traveled fairly widely - lived in Europe for 8-1/2 years - and am interested in politics and what's going on in the world. The next place on my list for an adventurous vacation is Madagascar to see the lemurs. Want to come?

The man I'm looking for is intelligent, attractive, warm, communicative, articulate, adventurous... a companion for hiking/biking/walks, intellectual pursuits, cooking/eating, and emotional/physical intimacy - a close friend and lover - someone who wants to share a life with me – and he has to love cats or at least my two cats (once he gets to know them)!
