I am going to put a lot of thought into this.... and will come up with some truly witty and informative information to add later on. :) But for now, I am a personable, caring and sociable person who is not afraid to experience life solo. (but the conversation is much better if there is someone else there.) I enjoy travel and love old cities. Activities: camping, cooking, educational programs, Sci-Fi, problem solving, lively conversation, live music, bike riding, and I have recently discovered golf may be more fun than it looks... but my experience is limited to the driving range.

Ideally, a first date should allow each person to get a better understanding of the person they are with... and must allow for conversation & getting to know each other.
Good examples of first dates:
Hey, let's meet for *_________ *(insert favorite beverage here)
Have you been to the *__________ *(insert favorite social gathering here)
Wow, I love *__________ too!!! * (insert style of culinary awesomeness)
(Please note, only those with well developed knowledge of the above said processes should dare to combine any of the above mentioned examples in to one date!!!)

Bad Examples of first dates:
A movie (Yawn... better left for after above said 1st dates)
A speed dating event (chance of leaving with the intended match is greatly reduced)
Going for a thrilling date: Sky Diving, street-luge, Iron man... etc.)
