I go to bed at night And wonder who is right the shame people make me feel because of my past ordeal
No need for much information but this is my way of vocation I lost my childhood from five And wished at the time I never survived
I seek no sympathy at my age but think of a wee child that could have been saved don't judge the wee lass inside but don't judge the women I am now
For those who judge harshly I beg you to think wisely not everyone are as strong as you assume not everyone can bloom
I am not a victim but a survivor but I have a right to remember and dread the horror don't knock me because I still have nightmares I have no interest in sorrow
If it was so easy to just get on do you really think this is my choice? my memories carry on and have to live with this voice
don't knock people who suffer just because you have coped remember the hell you went through and remember we all have hoped
that one day this will just go away but after 3 decades of pain it is not as easy as you assume and we are not all as strong as you
