Do I have your attention yet with the cheerleading? Well sorry to disappoint you, but I'm not the cheerleader - my sons were stunters. I'm a cheer and stunt coach, but just recently retired from coaching as my last son's graduating. I've gained a new respect for cheerleading and all of its demands in its sport. I also love volleyball. I play and also ref during the summer months. I like outdoor activities and also some indoor ones that may involve sitting in front of a cozy fire in the winter with someone special. I'm looking for someone who can balance their work life with a family life and still have a social life. Someone who after 50 years of marriage can still look at his wife with a twinkle in his eye, still hold her hand, hold the door open for her and she will always be the love of his life. I'd also like to be able to travel more in the future with someone special, see the world and what it has to offer. Life is a wonderful thing - would you like to experience it?

Okay, this is the part where everyone always responds "on the first date we should get together somewhere quiet to be able to talk and get to know one another". Well that's true to some point. Yet also you should have already emailed, or talked or gotten to know one another a little bit. So maybe you want to go somewhere for a little fun to see how each other responds and to get to enjoy each other at the same time. So my response to a first "date" would be maybe a wine tasting or a sporting event or depending on the time of year, a festival. That way you still have your quiet time to be able to talk to one another, yet you get to have that "fun" time with one another as well and will break the ice between each other.
