OK...I know it's hard to believe but....growing up with a Mom and 2 older sisters......I do put the seat down....or I wouldn't be here today to write this!!!

DUE TO A RECENT CONVERSATION WITH SOMEONE WHO BOLDLY STATED SHE "DID NOT DATE OUTSIDE HER RACE"....I FEEL THE NEED TO PUT THIS UP....I AM NOT MEXICAN...I HAVE NEVER BEEN TO MEXICO NOR DO I WANT TO GO TO MEXICO......WHEN I EAT AT TACO BELL I DON'T EVEN ASK FOR HOT SAUCE AND HAVE NO IDEA HOW TO PRONOUNCE HALF OF THEIR MENU!

I am originally from Victoria, BC Canada but have been in the US for just over 4 years now and am still kind of lost as to where I am compared to where some of you are.....so if I ask how far things are from me....please be patient with me....I am willing and able to learn.

I have been single for over 5 years now and it is time to get out and meet somebody special.....I miss the flirting....the giggling...the playing with the hair thing....the biting the lip thing.....the laughing and touching the arm thing....the talking all night and not realizing it thing.....the nervousness of not knowing what will happen next thing.....the 1st kiss thing....the 1st........

I like all kinds of music...except RAP....which is an oxymoron really...RAP isn't MUSIC.....but my love is country.....from the time I was 14 years old I was on the road in country bands until I was in my 30's.

I have been described by those who know me....as a big cuddly teddy bear.....I'm a good hugger.....a good kisser.....I give a good massage.....people say my voice soothes them....talking or singing.....I still have all my hair and teeth too!!!

I'm not used to having a few extra pounds on me......I'm about 60 lbs overweight because of an operation I had 5ish years ago.....it almost killed me and the recovery time was terribly long...in which all I did was lay on the couch....eat...and sleep....BALLOON!!! And now...being over 40....it seems to be taking forever to come off....and I'll admit.....I kinda need a motivator....not a drill sgt....but just a kind voice saying....let's go for a walk instead of watching a movie.

I've been lied to a lot online over the 9 years I have been in the chat rooms...spent weeks...months....getting to know someone.....letting them get to know me....only to find out later....their pic wasn't them...or was them 20 years ago....or they're married....after 1 lie is found how can anything that person has said be trusted?

I have also found that a lot of people are still into playing games with their exes and find it funny to continue to harrass them. How can they think they are ready for another relationship if they are still in their last relationship....and believe me....if you're still playing games with your ex....you're still in that relationship.
My ex is still harrassing me after years of being divorced and she is remarried....the question I have to ask is....how much can she be in love with her new husband if I have to be changing my passwords every week on everything i do online because of her? It is my choice not to play that game and retaliate....all I do is shake my head and keep protecting myself. You can choose to stay in the relationship and keep playing the games back....or you can choose to get out and be the bigger person. I don't play games and I don't want someone who does.

Someone who at least knows a little about country music would be nice. I don't drink....but I don't mind if you do...within reason...still being able to talk and function at the end of a date would be nice....you know. I have my own hobbies and would like someone who also has their own....they don't need to be the same ones


I have also noticed that a lot of people think that just because we are all a bunch of screen names.....and no one's seen you face to face......it's ok to be rude....not answering back when someone says hi.....stopping conversations in the middle with no explaination...chatting for a few days with someone then just disappearing without a word.....that's all rude in my books....and if I meet someone who says it's not rude to do those things...I don't want to be their friend because I believe their morals are messed up. We are not just a bunch of screen names without feelings.....we are human....we are brothers.....sons.....fathers...we have feelings and if I haven't given you any reason to be rude to me....please don't be!

Yes...I'm outgoing....straightforward......funny......can make a good thing out of anything.....I say it the way I see it.......I'm kinda shy....but I have learned to hide it well....I am a man who is happy with who I am.....but know that I could be a lot happier with someone to share life with.......I'm not afraid to say.....I need a woman to bring out the best in me....to complete me.

THE HUSBAND STORE

A store that sells new husbands has opened in New York City , where a woman may
go to choose a husband. Among the instructions at the entrance is a description
of how the store operates:

You may visit this store ONLY ONCE! There are six floors and the value of the
products increase as the shopper ascends the flights. The shopper may choose any
item from a particular floor, or may choose to go up to the next floor, but you
cannot go back down except to exit the building!

So, a woman goes to the Husband Store to find a husband. On the first floor the
sign on the door reads:

Floor 1 - These men Have Jobs

She is intrigued, but continues to the second floor, where the sign reads:

Floor 2 - These men Have Jobs and Love Kids.
'That's nice,' she thinks, 'but I want more.'

So she continues upward. The third floor sign reads:
Floor 3 - These men Have Jobs, Love Kids, and are Extremely Good Looking.

'Wow,' she thinks, but feels compelled to keep going.

She goes to the fourth floor and the sign reads:
Floor 4 - These men Have Jobs, Love Kids, are Drop-dead Good Looking and Help
With Housework.

'Oh, mercy me!' she exclaims, 'I can hardly stand it!'

Still, she goes to the fifth floor and the sign reads:

Housework, and Have a Strong Romantic Streak.

She is so tempted to stay, but she goes to the sixth floor, where the sign
reads:

Floor 6 - You are visitor 31,456,012 to this floor. There are no men on this
floor. This floor exists solely as proof that women are impossible to please.

PLEASE NOTE:
To avoid gender bias charges, the store's owner opened a New Wives store
just across the street.
The first floor has wives that love sex.
The second floor has wives that love sex and have money and like beer.

The third, fourth, fifth and sixth floors have never been visited.

Well a 1st date would depend on the woman it's with I guess....common interests....time of the year....availability of services wherever we happen to be.
Having said that.....i guess my favorite thing to do.....is always a nice dinner....quiet place....so we can talk....get to know each other....find out likes and dislikes.....then just play it by ear after.....a walk through town......listen to a live band....do some dancing.....take my guitar and sing to her....on a beach....in a park......anything if we're both interested would be good.
