Ok. Fine. I borrowed that from a comedy I just watched.
"Wild Hogs" with John Travolta & William Macy. Very funny movie.
Summer in September... well, it was nice. Strange weather patterns.
Just an average kind of guy .... not so special that I must wear a helmut!
And nor should you, unless you're riding a bike!

Back to weather comments. While mornings have been a wee bit frosty, it is very nice be biking in November. And feel the warm sunshine on your face.
My glass is 1/2 full, not 1/2 empty. Earlier, my glass was completely full, but I had a snack & was thirsty.
Fortunately, there's more in the fridge!
I'm not looking for a woman to complete me;
however, if she were to be so kind as to present a cold beer (occassionaly), I would be ever so grateful!
The 36th annual Winnipeg Folk Festival was a fabulous event. Now only the fading memories of sunburn, windburn, & great music remain.

I find this quote very amusing:
Hey, who's in charge here? It's a jungle out there! Just love that line.
Favourite quote (by Mark Twain):
"Dance Like Nobody is Watching; love like you've never been hurt.
Sing like nobody's listening; live like it's heaven on earth."I also really like this quotation, which I borrowed:
"Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass...
it's about learning to dance in the rain. And good words to live by:
"Never increase, beyond what is necessary, the number of words required to explain anything"
William of Ockham (1285-1349)

I have a fetching personality, some say far-fetching.
Looks? I get looks. Looks of incredulity, aghast looks, quizzical looks, puzzled looks, ...
Likes:Fresh garden tomatoes (going to have a long wait for this one)
Summer rain showers (that's when I wash my car & the doors don't freeze up).
Camp fires (might just finally stop shivering - hey, camping at the Folk Festival was chilly!)
Borrowing great quotations from much more learned folks.

Wednesday Night Dancing : Open invitation to all. Join a fun group who are learning to dance. No experience necessary. No partner required. Or just come down, socialize & have fun.
Good news. Wait.... great news! Found a bigger venue. Hardwood floors. Good parking.
Dedicated space for just us; no need to compete with those dangerous dart throwing Legionaires!
Drink prices just as reasonable as before. We have a terrific dance instructor. Great music.
Royal Canadian Legion, Winnipeg Polish Branch #246
1335 Main Street at Machray Avenue
2nd floor Banquet Hall
The dance instructor is Debra , who is teaching us WestCoast Swing, a versatile couples dance. Great dance for Blues, Country, HipHop Pop, & retro Funk. Most of the stuff played at bars. No dance partner is required as we frequently change dance partners during the dance lesson. This also makes it more fun!
On our Wednesday evenings, a practise dance follows the dance lesson. Various dances are: 2 Step (country), Nightclub (smooth, sexy dance to slower music), ChaCha, Swing, etc. Debra plays the music & encourages us to try all the dances.
Come on out. Meet some new people. Have some fun. You deserve it.
The parking lot entrance is off the lane at the rear of the Legion, set back from Main Street & Machray Avenue. The banquet hall entrance door is on the other (south) side of the Legion building on Machray Avenue.
The dance hall is upstairs at the Royal Canadian Polish Legion banquet hall. Beautiful hardwood floors, good sound, with easy access to the Legion bar, downstairs. A few people said that they remembered this location, from previous weddings & socials.
The event is for socializing, learning to social dance, & generally goofing around having fun.
