I think that we all have dreams, wants and desires for our lives no matter how young or old we are. Even Peter Pan had them after he grew up :) We may be beyond fumbling around in the dark in the back seat of a car (or are we? smile!), but we still want companionship, trust, honesty, affection and maybe even love if it strikes - life is to be lived and enjoyed.

My children are older and on their own, so my time is mainly my own. I know that I can find my way around the maze of life very well...........but at this point in my life, it would be nice to find the center of the maze with a partner. I want someone that loves to hold hands, cuddle, kiss for hours. .. .. .. .. .and know when it's time to rip each other's clothes off lol I want to feel and show passion, to know what my partner is feeling just by looking into his eyes. I usually very flexible about making plans. I don't have a lot of prerequisites for the man that I'd like to have in my life other than he must be comfortable stepping out of his comfort zone sometimes....life is too short for everything to be black and white....where is the fun in that?? I've been accused of being affable and caring which are good traits no matter who you are. I work in the medical field because I find joy in nurturing people and taking care of them.

Some of my interests are Genealogy, Photography, Reading, Traveling (I've lived in California, Japan, Texas, Arkansas, New Hampshire and Massachusetts. Have also traveled to Mexico, Newfoundland, and Bermuda), walking along the Charles River near MIT - great view of Boston at night, music, live shows and bike riding.
Relationships shouldn't be taken for granted and they require like most good things strong commitment from each party. I am attracted to a man with a sense of humor, kindness, generosity, empathy and a great smile! I'm also a mix of contradictions: Independent but love holding hands, Soft but strong convictions, Conservative but love red nail polish & toe rings. I'm looking for a long term relationship, NOT a "friends with benefits" situation or an affair.

First dates are always kind of awkward......."what am I going to wear? do I need breath mints? who pays for what? Am I going to fall out of my heels or laugh and snort my drink out of my nose? :) But first dates can also be magic......you meet the other person for the first time and you immediately think, "holy cow!...this is going to be fun!"
