Never an easy section to fill. How does one portray who one is in a limited space, and do so honestly for another to get an idea of what makes you tick. I am an old soul I still believe in chivialry, I still believe in doing the right thing even when its not in my best interest. I'm the person that opens the door with a smile you don't notice but feel better for. I'm the person when you are most lost and confused shows you the way. I'm the hero who is always saving you but you never see. Equally I'm the guy *literally* in the black hat and leather trench who always seems to scowl. I'm the guy who doesn't open up easily and doesn't like crowds. All those things and so many more good and probably bad are me, but it doesn't begin to tell my story.

What am I looking for? someone who like me sees that things are not what they seem. Who knows that we all have a part to play and strives to make that part positive not just for themselves but for others. Someone who will take the time to know me as I will to know them and become better for it. Someone who can tolerate that I can't dance, but will ask me too anyway if its something they enjoy. Someone who matches my mind and my heart. Someone who enjoys gaming, the outdoors, and just wants to take a weekend and go somewhere.

What is it we are looking for? Can we even know? We list things in our minds that we want that we seek and believe are the criteria that will bring our dreams. If that really were the right criteria why are we here now?

For myself I'm here because I don't know what I want, I just know I haven't encountered it yet. I know that I am looking for a person with a soul, someone who can bring a smile to my lips when I think of her. Someone who shares at least some of my interests and passions, someone who makes my mind long for her as much as my arms might. Can I deny that appearences matter probably not, but appearences are certainly not the major factor. I learned my lessons in kindergarten and listening to fairy tales. *and Shrek* I'm not looking with my eyes. I'm looking with my heart and my mind. Looks are fleeting, weight changes. However boring, stupid, shallow, and bad are forever and not what i want.

I realize I'm no Adonis but I consider that a plus because what I offer is so much more real and honest. I'm not bad on the eyes and I'm someone you can depend on in the best and worst of times. I'm that good guy everywoman wants but can't find. Sure my packaging might be a bit bulky but if you think that matters, well ask Lois why she stays with Peter Griffin. I'm a bit of a geek I have to confess but it has its perks you'll never lack for conversation or exploration around me. I'm always looking to learn more, and I share what I know freely. I could probably write a book on what I am looking for or why I'm someone to get to know, but really it best for you to ask if you interested. Why waste a good story when it can be shared with good company.

How does one say what they would do for a first date and not sound formulaic? I guess the best I could say for a first date, is to go someplace local with a nice atmosphere quiet enough to talk interesting enough to inspire. A place to relax and get to know each other over something refreshing.
