A little about myself: I'm a very easy-going person, and am just as happy to sit at home and cuddle and watch a movie as I am to run around and explore the wilderness or (sub)urban sprawl. I'll try (almost) anything once, so if you have a great idea for something to do, I'm probably up to the challenge. I really enjoy being active, playing sports, and such, but don't really have anyone to do it with these days. Most of the people I used to do such things with have gotten fat and lazy, unfortunately.

I have seven years of post-secondary behind me, with more on the horizon. Yeah, learning is addictive. Who needs drugs when you can spend the day figuring out what makes the universe tick?

I have three cars, none of which are classy or sexy, although one of them is pretty quick. I have them mostly because they give me something to take apart and tinker with, which makes me happy. Well, okay -- so does going fast.

My smile/smirk/grin has the ability to disarm people and has singlehandedly gotten me out of a LOT of trouble. Sometimes I can be cute enough that you can't stay mad at me. You've been warned.

I dislike seeing the English language butchered. If you write "you" as "u", we're probably not meant to be. No offense.

I don't dance - ever. Many girls have tried to get me to dance with them - none have succeeded yet. I should note that I don't dislike dancing, per se, but I'm more deathly afraid of the concept than anything else. If by some miracle you do manage to get me to / teach me to dance, you'll have to be very special, that's for sure.

I really *really* like smart nerdy/geeky/intellectual females. Scathing wit and fierce intellectual debate will win me over much quicker than bleached blonde hair and some lululemon pants. Not that those are necessarily bad things of course, just not the right way to be trying to get (okay - hold, we'll say) my attention.

I'm a very logical person, perhaps to a fault. I love to debate/argue about pretty much anything, sometimes to the point of annoying others. I also tend to be brutally honest. If you ask me if your butt looks fat in a certain dress, and it looks a little chunky, my answer will be yes. On the other hand, if I throw you out a compliment, I probably mean it genuinely as opposed to a thinly veiled attempt to flatter you into sleeping with me. You win some, you lose some, I suppose.

Smoking really bothers me, and if you do, you might as well keep looking. I don't really mind it conceptually, but the smell, taste, and everything about it just makes my skin crawl. I should note that this only applies to cigarettes, and while I'm not personally a 420 kinda guy, I quite like the smell of it, so that doesn't bother me.

I've recently moved to a farm, and have some pasture and a barn. Currently, the barn is inhabited by birds, some mice, a dune buggy, and various car parts. A goat is a future possibility, though.

First dates... Hmm.

I'm not sure how good I am with such things. A nice walk somewhere, a bite to eat, perhaps taking in a movie somewhere *other* than a movie theater, where it can be paused and ignored while more important things are going on, such as a gummi bear fight, or arguing about who's hogging the chocolate.
