Hello there, the name's Steve. I'm 30 years old. I grew up in Hauppauge where I spent most of my time in diners at 4am and walking around the block in the rain with my friends. Yes, I'm actually being serious. It was a great way to pass the time and vent our frustrations.
I'm currently doing research and working on my Ph.D in Physiology and Biophysics at Stony Brook University. Research is something (believe it or not) I enjoy doing.
Let's see here, leisurely, the things I enjoy the most are music, reading, writing, movies (rented or theater), TV (e.g. LOST, Smallville, 24, House), playing the guitar and drums (this is a great way to alleviate stress), learning new things, and dining at restaurants/diners. The standard stuff, I know. The last point, however, sometimes involves coffee and intense conversation.
I love conversation and I can be sarcastic at times, humorously of course. I apologize in advance for this. If we share this in common we'll most likely get along famously :) If not, I'm sure it would be ok too. I consider myself fairly open minded, meaning I don't experience hang ups regarding another person's personal opinions or beliefs, whether they be political, religious or something else altogether. I'm extremely close with my family, parents and siblings together. I'm pretty laid back and easy going. You tend to hear that a lot, but it's important to temper your stress level.
Anyway, if you're interested in talking and learning anything more about me, please don't hesitate to send a message.
Ok, don't ask about what appears to be a jumping frog. I think I pushed something by accident.
To start? Dinner, drinks, lunch or coffee most likely. Anything where conversation can be taken advantage of.
