I'M NOT LOOKING FOR MISS PERFECT. "Perfect" (usually) comes from the judgmental ego-mind (unless it about the law, spiritual truth, or...!). I write about what I appreciate, am pulled to, and NOT about expectations or demands, thank you. I appreciate those with a healthy self-esteem & who are not set in rigid gender roles, demands, manipulation or entitlement. Some call that authentic, real, present, response-able, (maybe like) emotionally available, or "being" oneself.

I'm spiritual, eclectic, not religious, a considerate listener, fun & appreciates the same in others. Somewhat outgoing (on occasion), a dancer(yep!), loves the outdoors (an ex-park ranger (trained, with a Bach.Sci. degree), an adventurer, humorous sometimes (if you let it happen), communicative, interesting to talk with about many topics, progressive thinking, holistic, eclectic, with self-acceptance, accepting of others, open to the new, likes to bicycle & listen to music (classic rock, blues, Celtic/new age, world beat, Cajon/zydeco - you name it), plays music (rarely), with inflatable boat, into natural hot springs/hot tubs, travel, My social drinking is VERY minimal & VERY rare, & I'm health conscious.

I'm available to meet a lovely woman who resonates, is ready for happiness, doesn't talk incessantly, who would rather be happy than "right, may be someone like me: creative, intelligent, intuitive, compassionate, fun/playful, response-able, healthy/fit (& not overweight), sensual, open-minded, an interesting conversationalist (you name the topic), with a well-rounded education, spiritual/holistic, who sings/plays music on weekends at various potluck parties. I like to travel, read, dance (you will love it), listen to music (Enya, Loreena McKennett, new age/Irish/exotic, rock, blues, etc., but no rap, discordant jazz, & the usual). I like kids & critters! Passionate about life & sometimes a gypsy/traveler. Very seldom drink & small amounts at that. More into health & longevity. Although from tests my biological age is much younger, & my chronological age is now 61! I dance hard & long, & hike for 12 miles (or more),running much of it. Thanks for your understanding. I'm young at heart & spirit. And I have greenish eyes, but the best is within but only for those able to see & for those with "ears" to hear. If you get that you deserve & are ready for love with an open heart who keeps herself attractive to men, then we may be more than happy to develop a friendship that moves forward together. Expectations or demands are NOT the same as aspirations. Someone who appreciates my interests would be nice (but it's not necessary)-- being outdoors (hiking, biking, hot springs, outdoor concerts etc.),good/intelligent conversation (ANY topic), dance/music (contra , freestyle, Cajon, zydeco/new age, Celtic, exotic, gypsy, etc.),reading, travel, movies, classes/seminars/etc. on personal growth/spirituality/health. ISO fun, loving/caring, authentic, attractive, creative, intelligent, woman that I resonate with. I respect others, inclusive, have boundaries. You could think of my as non-religious, spiritual, eclectic. I do the Peace Dances, (aka. Sufi Dancing), & also Kirtan chanting/singing, Unity of Boulder (not like a church so much that you would know about), The Center of Light & Truth. I don't require anyone to have my interests, but when tried many friends like these things & the people who show up there.
ISO a real, authentic person who is herself & in her heart, and not trying to be somebody else, nor is self-absorbed into her ego, defensive, has an agenda, or wants to judge. (Happy people are too busy living their life, rather than trying to control others, a perfectionist, in their "heads", or do battle with their demons or projections) (Must take any "meds" if necessary) Living simply is good, vs. being materialistic or superficial. lol Quick to judge? Does your anger "protect" you? Do people agreeing with your position & you thinking & "being" like some many others "make" you feel safe? Hmm.

I'm not stuck in this location, but willing to travel/relocate. Wintered 4 1/2 months in Costa Rica, Cancun, Santa Barbara, & So. Florida) a yr ago (07-08) & unexpectedly a long winter elsewhere this yr. What people know & say about me: "A jewel!" "Dance with Alan. He'll make you feel like a genius." "Wow! That was so much fun. You were unbelievable!" on & on & on with intense enthusiasm - a true account. I have the greatest hug, a great massage, etc. because I'm nurturing/support & aim to please!

PS- Nothing "wrong" with it, but if you are a Bush lover or "conservative" politically (conserving what? for whom??), you may want to look elsewhere. There's no accounting for taste, & do not tolerate "fools". In fact I do not ever run across Bush-people now at all (face to face).
