About Me
** Kinda tired of this monolog. I'll post something else soon **
Looking for my equal..
I am casting a pretty broad net into this sea full of fish. People like us are rare, but still we’re out here. There has to be at least a couple of you.
I say enough of this!! It’s time to find a true partner. The following should describe major aspects of you..
You will understand the idea behind ‘Comfort or security is death’.
You no longer identify with your perceived limitations or insecurities, or argue for them.
You will thrive on and crave operating in this manifest realm at the highest possible levels of body, mind and spirit in self, culture and nature.
You too will find it is impossible now to settle for anything less than the highest possible spiritual love and deep connection.
If you have any addiction it would probably be to reading. (you absolutely don’t smoke!)
You crave depth, you have no time for shallowness and don’t suffer fools gladly.
You have a quick wit and great sense of humor.
It’s quite possible that you may not have an average cell in your body. (OK, maybe a few inside your right wrist and a few more there under your chin… And maybe..)
Sports?? Feh!! Sports are for kids. We’ve got way better things to do with our time. Although a round of golf in the morning or a long fast bike ride are beautiful things.
You will be able to complete the sentence “Gate gate paragate…” even better if you can actually live it everyday (Is that even possible?) Any reply to this posting should contain the rest of that sentence and what it means.
Satori.. Have you had it?
You will have outgrown religion at 5 or 6 years old because you intuitively knew there was something much more that everybody has been missing.
You will live in a much larger reality than the tiny one that 99% of people agree to live in.
You will be sensitive to energy.
You live a creative life. What other kind is there?
You have traveled the world.
You will have been successful at almost everything you have done.
You know that you can’t push the river. It gets you nowhere.
It is impossible to attempt to identify yourself by what you do for money because you have done so much and are so many things. (you know, that tired unconscious question immediately asked by people at parties “So, what do you do?” I prefer: “Who ARE you?” or “What have you always wanted to do but were told you couldn’t or were too afraid to try?”)
You’re horrified by suburban life.
You will have spent a lot of years healing all your baggage and limitations. While of course not perfect, you now are living a life of ever greater passionate awakening, self realization and creative expression. Leaving behind your limited and mis-perceptions of life.
You can't be offended.
Nobody can push your buttons because you have none left to push. (Well maybe a couple of small ones, but you are well aware of them and what it is within you that creates them)
You can look at yourself critically with great care and compassion. This carries to the people you meet in your outer world.
You enjoy vibrant energetic health and fitness.
You eat organic, Maybe even grow it.
You see through the illusions and limitations that culture, family and education may have tried to put into you.
You are nobody’s victim.
You love the arts, especially movies, deep friendships and fabulous gatherings with great food and great wines.
What are you here to give to the world? What’s your mission? You WILL have one. Is it anything like mine?
If you disagree with any one of these points or any one of them confuses you, just move on to the next guy. (Unless of course you can articulate why some don’t apply to you or how I missed something)
If you find any of this intriguing and are ready to laugh your way though a big, passionate and ever evolving life, then contact me, we’ll start there.
First Date
You may live in a completely different part of the planet than I do, so depending on how far I or we have to travel it would be quite different.
Some Kundalini Yoga, maybe great Thai food, getting kicked out of a 5 star restaurant at closing, finding another bottle of Margaret River Shiraz (or bringing out the spare one that I brought with me) and spending the rest of the night and the next morning lying in the cool grass talking about life and sharing our stories.
Reading to each other is always good.
