In 1972, when Great Britian joined the European Common Market, it was sold to the people as a "free trade agreement." Today the U.K. is quickly handing over its national sovereignty to what has evolved into the European Union.


The European Union --

• Has its own court of justice, currency and parliament; headed by unelected commissioners.

• Has its own constitution which holds its citizens answerable to the commission, the opposite of a U.S. republic, where our elected representatives are accountable to the people.

• Is extracting incremental taxes out of the individual member nations to ensure its power grows.


What's troubling about the EU is that the world is quickly forming the same kind of regional "unions." South American countries on May 23, 2008 signed a treaty to form their own "South American Union." African countries are in the process of forming an "African Union." Asian countries and Australia are working on an "Asian Union."


All of these unions follow the same blueprint of the European Union. All of these unions will eventually usurp the sovereignty of the individual nations who join them.



The U.S. has already opened the door to a North American Union with the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA.) A group in Canada, the North American Forum on Integration (NAFI), is currently promoting North American integration.

Joseph Stalin, at 1936 Communist International said “Dictatorship can be established only by a victory of socialism in different countries or groups of countries, after which there would be federal unions of the various groupings of these socialist countries, and the third stage would be an amalgamation of these regional federal unions into a world union of socialist nations.”

This is exactly what is happening before our very eyes.

80% of the laws in the U.K are now made by the EU parliament in Brussels. It only took 35-40 years for the people of the U.K. to lose their voice.
