As I got older I was quite proud of myself because I seemed to be getting more patient but then I realised that I just didn't give a s**t anymore.

UPDATE!!! Apparently there are quite a few men on this site without teeth. Let me assure you that aside from two molars at the back of my mouth that have been missing since my 20's I have all my teeth.... no bridges no dentures. Unfortunately my teeth don't show naturally with my smile.... sorry. I go to the dentist every 4 months for cleaning and check-up. Just thought I would clarify this fact.

I have been retired for 11 years with an indexed Gov't pension. I work occasionally to have extra money. My home is mortgage free. I try to eat healthy foods but admit that I do enjoy eating the bad foods too. That is why I am constantly watching my mid section. Extra pizza equals extra ab crunches.

I don't understand why women go to all the trouble of posting their profile at these sites and then they don't post a picture. What are they hiding? Men are visual creatures. That is not to say that they are necessarily shallow but rather that certain looks or features in the face may attract them. Maybe it is your eyes or maybe your smile or the shape of your face. I have posted as many recent pics as I can to make sure that you don't get surprised if we meet. I would appreciate the same. No pictures = no response.

Quick facts.... Movies- I love them old and new but I admit that I do prefer love rather than violence. TV- Being alone I do watch too much and would gladly cut back if with someone. I like shows that teach me things or that make me laugh. Entertainment shows that I like.... All the CSI shows and NCIS... all the Law and Order shows. Off-beat shows like Boston Legal I still miss Mulder and Scully. Music: I like everything from classical to rock and new age and have it all in my CD/vinyl collections but I have not found a liking of rap nor hip-hop. I have country in my collection but I can't bear to listen to a country and western radio station for some reason. I love to dance and I love foods from all over the world especially Greek, Indian and Italian. Sports- I curled many years ago. I haven't golfed in decades because I wasn't good but I do have a set of clubs somewhere in the basement. I have caught myself watching some golf on TV the last few years so maybe there is interest. The only other sports I watch are the odd Argo game on TV and the Olympics. Books- The DaVinci Code, Soul Stories, The Celestine Prophecies, Seat of the Soul, The Little Prince.

My hair turns platinum blond in the summer so it isn't as white as it may appear in the pics. Oh and if you want children I am NOT your man as I had a vasectomy years ago.

Of course the usual meeting over coffee or perhaps I could take you out to brunch. I would also enjoy taking you up to Merrickville for the day and go through the shops. You find out a lot about each other that way and then maybe we could stop for lunch at a pub. I am of course very open to any of your suggestions.
