I am an Elementary school teacher. I teach 5th grade, as well as teaching guitar at my school. *** I am moving to Chicago in June to teach music at the High School level. I am looking for someone that is motivated and passionate about what they do and love. Honesty is a big thing with me. I want complete honesty....I don't sugar coat things, and I want for who ever I am with to be as straight forward with me as I will be with them. I want to meet someone that is fun, caring, and has a great sense of humor. I suppose that is what everyone says, because who wants a boring, mean person with no sense of humor? I would also like to meet someone who doesn't play games. I don't play them, so it is tiresome when the other person does. If you are interested in someone, you are interested. If you aren't, then it is best to just be honest. That's where that whole, 'no games' person would come in really handy :)

I really enjoy doing outdoor activites, especially playing tennis or baseball/softball. I love cooking. Any excuse to throw a dinner party, and I am in the kitchen coming up with my lastest creation. I love music. I am into anything from Glenn Miller to Pink Floyd. I generally don't listen to country or rap, but I appreciate the artists who make the music (it just really isn't my thing).

I am not so much into the club scene. I like to stay in, or go out and try new things around town. I suppose if you want to know more, ask!

Movies are off limits for first dates. That isn't the best way to gage whether or not you enjoyed the person. I prefer to do something fun, like go bowling, roller skating, or to a diner for a cup of coffee. Call me old-fashioned, but I think that they had it right back in the day. Basically, something fun that allows room to get to know the other person....and the more original the date, the better!
