I like to stay active and enjoy life and I'm hoping to find someone to share that with. Getting out and experiencing life and spending social time with friends and family is a big part of my life. I love music, especially classic rock and blues. I work out at a martial arts club and a gym but if you don't, that's fine too! It is just something that makes me feel good and keeps me fit. It is important to me to become close yet still maintain my independence and be able to still participate in my own activities and also do things together and with friends.

I am hoping to find a friendship that turns into more over time. I am looking for a relationship that starts out as friends and that eventually turns into more. In order for that to happen, there has to be mental, emotional and physical attraction. I am usually attracted to men who are intelligent, outgoing and confident. Physically, I am more often attracted to men who are taller than me and a muscular to heavy build;however, the most important thing to me is the chemistry between us.

I have been separated for over 4 years. I am not divorced, but this is not because there is any chance of reconciliation - that is just a formality that is not necessary at this time as I am not looking to remarry anytime soon. My ideal situation would be to find a man who I have a close relationship to, who understands the demands of single parenting.
