Hi Everyone,

So, more about Moi... Well, I'm a full time student and have been since 2006 (after several years as a receptionist) have just completed an advanced diploma in Multimedia, and am now hoping to do some IT studies :-). Music is my passion however and I have been involved with community radio since I was in my late teens.

Dance music is my thang, (from the late 1970's to now). It's mostly a collection of Disco, Hi NRG, 90's Euro dance and a small amount of Darkwave, though recently I've been getting back into 80's electrofunk. I also have a small but growing collection of contemporary Indian dance music (just for the hell of it really), which is fun to listen to (despite not understanding a word of it)... :-)

I play keyboards as a hobby though in the longer term I would love to get my band on the road and when I've got time I try to work on writing music (though since a couple of my synthesizers need repairs I should really be in the music repair business).

I'm best described as quirky and fun loving, less kind people call me unique, but I'm okay with that, though I can be serious when need be. My daughter and I are very close though she's moved out of the house now, but we catch up quite a bit. We're also a lot alike, which is scary in itself. I also have a very dear set of friends who I've known forever and enjoy catching up with when I can, usually over a drink or twenty.

I drink an OBSCENE amount of coffee and somehow still manage to remain a very relaxed and easygoing guy. I do like to draw though haven't in awhile, love SBS and ABC2, any film at all by American Director John Waters and of course as I mentioned community radio...

Oh and one more thing (That usually annoys all sorts of people), sport BORES THE CRAP out of me. You won't find any of it in my house at all...

To be honest I can be VERY shy when meeting people for the first time and my nerves tend to show, though as I get to know a person I do relax very quickly. I'd probably try to keep it simple, maybe a coffee or a drink somewhere.
