I have been a widow soon to be 5 yrs. and I am just looking for someone to just hang out with, go have a cup of coffee, go to a movie, go for a ride in the car, I don't care. I'm just tired of being alone all the time or the 3rd wheel. I'm sure all of you can relate to that. "Long Term" to us could be 10-15 yrs. For some reason that just doesn't seem long term to me.


I still believe in the "Golden Rule" and I strongly believe in being honest, and I don't take it too well when people lie to me. Honesty is still the best policy. I'm not into head games, life is too short and precious, and I'm too old and tired to play high school games.

I am not looking for someone to take care of me, I think I'm doing a fine job of that. I would like to find someone that will keep an eye on me, and walk with me through this journey. I also think that you have to be friends first and that anything other than that is a bonus. Come on, let's face it, 95% of you are Not Ken, and I'm Not Barbie, ( I always thought that couple was overrated) but I really think we could have fun together, if we both put our hangups on a shelf and work at a relationship.


I love music and rarely have the TV on. I used to sing with Sweet Adelines (Barbershop Chorus). And I consider a great evening to be, just building a fire in the fireplace and listening to old record albums.



I like to do almost anything and I'm always willing to try new things too. I also think, that if I take the time to e-mail you a hello, the common courtesy, would be to at least acknowledge, please, (most people do while passing on the street, bank, even Walmart), and if you read the profile, I'm really only a mouse click away, Thank you, I got that off my chest and I feel much better now!!!

I like a glass of wine on occasion, but,I am, by no means dependant on it. And I prefer, that you don't have to have a few drinks, to make it through an evening.

Also, if you have a mileage limit on your account, I can't send you a note. And there have been a few of you that I really would like to talk to. Even though I really don't like long distance relationships, they just don't work for me. But, that doesn't mean that we can't stop in and say Hi on occasion. I have several "friends" on here that I will never meet, because they are way too far away. But we are still friends.
