I'm intelligent, articulate and financially self-sufficient I enjoy the same qualities in men. I write poetry, enjoy reading, music of most types, dancing, gourmet cooking, fine wine and intelligent discourse. Romance is nice too. I would like to find a real relationship, based on honesty,respect, friendship and acceptance ...with a dose of sensuality to mix it all up and make it interesting. I have broad interests. I am not looking for the movie of the week, which seems to be the descriptor on 95% of the profiles you see. It would be terrific if life was strolls on the beach, lattes and long walks down leasurely lanes, but it isn't. When I am in a relationship, I like to be "the cherry on top of the soda", of which there is only one. I spoil my man and like him to spoil me in return. I find myself attracted to the brat, which really means that he has an assertive, charming and often outspoken personality. He's got to have music in him. He does not have to be celluloid pretty [those types generally are more in love with themselves than they would ever be with me]. I want romance..... sex...... affection.... all that good stuff.

One more thing - if you expect me to respond to your email, you need to have a photograph. Also, I HATE those who talk in chatisms, like u, ur, wot, b4, 2, and things like that. A fine mind is a joy to behold. Let me behold YOURS.

p.s. If you put me on your favorites and I never hear from you, I will remove you. I mean, what's the point?

On a first date, I am open to suggestion. I do feel that having a first meet should be at a place that is quiet enough to hear voices. I want to see your face, look into your eyes and feel the tone of voice attached to what it is you are NOT saying. [People say a great deal with their eyes that they do not say with their voices]. Then, nature and chemistry will take care of the rest. At the very least, a new friendship can happen. The very most? That's the adventure, isn't it?
