I'm an attractive, bright, Christian woman who is old fashioned, curious by nature, and extremely honest and forthright. I know it's important that I make exercise a priority and I'm currently working with a personal trainer in order to slim down and be more healthy in every area of my life. You understand the importance of attempting to get fit and want to join me in this kind of pursuit, no matter what your weight is right now. Obviously you don't mind a woman who is in the process of working on her weight and see yourself helping us both to stay more fit.

I enjoy a lot of things that aren't extravagent, like a double feature at the dollar movies, or reading from a book to one another that we both choose together. There are so many things that don't cost a lot of money that we can enjoy at our leisure.

I see myself falling for one who will love the outdoors, who is handy around the house and likes working in the yard with me, gardening, who enjoys the country and lives near my area or is close enough to do the majority of the commuting. While you're working or retired, you aren't a workaholic obsessed with materialism. You're a deep thinking individual who recognizes that at fifty we both probably have our flaws and eccentricities. You're willing to accept mine as I accept yours. You don't drink or drug and if you drink, you're truly a social drinker. You're probably kind of traditional or old fashioned and have been caught thinking, "My gosh, what has happened to old fashioned values?" You're not just "spiritual," you actually believe in God and the values of an age that appear to be gone forever. Let's bring them back!

I'm an unspoiled, sweet, giving, loyal, intelligent woman, looking for the best that is yet to come. Life is sweet when we find what counts. I believe in a very slow paced dating relationship that leads us to know one another deeply. With the right person, I expect this to eventually lead to a permanent partnership and legal marriage down the road. I like to email back and forth for a little initially to get to know someone and then begin talking on the phone some. I don't want to have a long "online relationship" but I'm not in a rush to meet immediately either. For a first meeting, coffee or a beverage is fine at a public place and if we find we want to know one another better after that, I'm usually into a long, leisurely dining experience where we have in depth conversation about what we're looking for, what's going on in our lives currently and what our hopes and dreams are for the future. After dinner, I like to have coffee, take a stroll and continue to visit, and/or see a movie.

When I know someone quite well, I like watching movies on TV, DVD's, playing a board game, gardening, yardwork, watching my two wild turtles swim around in the pond/habitat created for them, barbequeing, or just sitting together and talking while we have some iced tea outside in the yard or inside by the fireplace. There are countless simple things to do that we can amuse one another with and in this economy, the more frugal we are, the better.
