Hello to all who read this short missive about me! I am new to this and hoping to interact and meet other people. I recently

moved to North Carolina and am settling down in the Cary area. So far I am liking what I find here. The pace is so different from what I am used to, it is very refreshing!

A little about me, I am 42 years young, never married and no kids. Why you may ask? Simply I haven't found one who "clicks" with me on all levels yet. I am ecletic, intelligent, goofy, funny and new! I have a interesting hobby which feeds my love of history, I am a renaissance re-enactor and proud member of the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA for short). What the heck does that mean you ask? It means I Really do put on armor and go out fighting, for king, glory, gold, and honor. I will also fight for a lady's favor. I also work with several of the Alternative Lifestyles groups and have a blast doing it. Is both educational and fun!

In the "real" world I am IT support person, handling calls from hospitals when their comm systems go down. Is fun work and I like it. It is also nice to be working back in my field after a long hiatus due to no tech work where I used to live.

What I dislike:
People who feel looks are everything , appearance fades the heart tis forever
Most organized sports (Too much investment for too little return)
Ignorance (If you don't know look it up!)




NOTE No photo NO reply! I need to see who I am talking to. I look at a lot of peoples writeups and those with a photo catch my eye a lot quicker. Is the photographer in me I guess!

A first date would probably consist of getting together for coffee, and just talking. Getting to know one another is always an important first step. As I am VERY open on most subjects, I prefer the same. Maybe getting together for an event, to watch the fighters (as I would be with you I wouldn't be fighting that day) and all the pomp and circumstance that goes with it. Or even a good evening with friends working on a project or discussing whatever. Chat with me, see who I am, you may be surprised!
