THE PACKAGE:
Things are going quite well in my life at the moment; I enjoy my work; my finances are in order; I have my own apartment; I can cook; I’m candid and analytical; and I’m fun to be around (at least if you derive pleasure from the same things I do).

I enjoy going to the pub with friends, bike riding and cooking. I'd like a girl who will venture out of her 'comfort zone' now and then to try new things with me. I am true to my personality: honest, consistent and responsible; I don’t pretend to be someone I’m not or say things I don’t believe to be true. Sometimes that puts people off, but I do have several good friends so it’s an effective screening mechanism for finding people who are not shallow and thus are worth calling ‘friend’.

LOOKING FOR:
You may ask then, if so content and awesome, then why POF? Of which, I would reply that I am on here to meet new people (of course) who generally fit into four tiers:

-The first is the most general, being to have respect from my colleagues and expand my professional network;
-The second is to develop a number of acquaintances (outer circle of friends) who enjoy house parties, going to the pub or hanging out after work;
-The third is to select a handful of people from the second tier to form a closer bond and lasting friendship, of whose company I especially enjoy and vice versa; and
-The fourth tier is to find a woman who is intellectually, philosophically, and physically compatible with me, with whom to spend a great number of years together as a couple.

Realistically, I'm probably only going to find people in tier two on here, and probably some crazy people (but they're in a tier of their own...). If by chance you like what you see and I like what I see, then there's potential for some good things to happen. Compatibility is determined by considering a number of factors, other sites have '29 dimensions of compatibility' but that's probably too many to list here. So I've narrowed down the list to the few things that I consider most important when deciding if we're a good fit:
-Find it easy to formulate logical, rational arguments
-Like meat, spicy food, and to try foreign cuisine (at least once)
-Understand money and debt, and are not a compulsive shopper or gambler
