I am looking to get to know someone and see where it leads. I'm not specifically looking for anything serious, but if we hit it off and it leads into something serious I am willing to explore that avenue.

I believe to make anything work friendship is key. People have argued this point with me, but that's what I believe. If you are gorgeous, but can't hold a conversation, keep on swimming, you are not the right person for me. I like someone who challenges me intellectually, has thoughts and opinions. And respects that I have my own thoughts and opinions. It's about understanding and respecting the other's, not necessarily always agreeing with them.

I enjoy a guy who has a dry, sarcastic sense of humours because I tend to have that type of sense of humour as well. I enjoy anything tastfully funny. the biggest quality I look for in a man is if he can make me laugh (don't take this as too big a challenge, it is easily accomplished).

I am really close with my family. They are the most important people in my life and I spend a lot of quality time with them. My friends are incredibly important to me as well, they are amazing people and have been such positive influences in my life.

I love my job. Still striving to have my own classroom, but I am enjoying the expereince of getting there. I would love to teach primary grades (kindergarten to grade 3) or special education. The summers off are an added bonus.
