Born and raised on Chicago's south side, I'm a down to earth good guy who believes great communication, honesty and integrity is the best formula for a lasting relationship. I'm looking for a Jewish woman or someone knowledgable and respectful about traditions, Zionism and Israel. I am not particularly religious. I do enjoy going to shabbat services occasionally. I have grown to know other spiritual paths as well...nothing extreme. Part of me is rooted in Israel, having returned from 6 weeks there in March. It was my 5th trip and it's an amazing place!

You're an attractive woman inside...one who is comfortable talking about all aspects of relationships, including sexuality. We're adults here...honest and communicative. Just as important is the need to laugh and let the kid out in ourselves.

On a more mundane level, I'm retired and I'm very aware of how lucky I am. This kind of freedom allows me many choices. I am an active person. I enjoy working out, though lately my garden work has prevented enjoying getting to the gym. I enjoy the garden and put a lot time into, and it gives me some fun things to eat. I don't consider myself to be a good cook, but it's something I enjoy. I've tried to create simple things from what I've grown. More importantly, getting into the dirt grounds me. I take piano lessons(learning as many Beatles songs as I can). It's not easy but I (all you need is...)love to practice every morning with my coffee. I bowl several times a week and recently threw my first perfect game. It would be fun to find someone to share that sport with, but it's not a deal breaker.

I also love to travel and usually have my camera at "the ready." In July I took a 1600 mile motorcycle trip through Flagstaff, Sedona, Bryce and Zion Nat'l Parks, with a final stop in Vegas to see Love and Bette Midler. In every corner of the world there are good people. Just like I need to find you and vice versa, we need to find them, learn their customs, their history, and share our experiences. I hope you will enjoy traveling in our beautiful country too. Riding my comfortable touring motorcycle is a great way to see it. Or we can drive the car, or I always thought an RV would be fun to travel and taking a cruise is awesome too! I've had some great adventures, including catching a ball at the old Yankee Stadium and that London trip in the pics.

I enjoy film, whether snuggling up here in front of the big small screen, or in the theater in front of the big big screen(saw 10 at the Israeli film festival).

Sharing my good fortune with someone I love and respect, and vice versa, is what I'm looking for. Getting to know you, your family and your past, your struggles and your successes, to play with your children if they're little or engage with your older kids, is something that I'm comfortable with as well.

I hope you're ok and being careful out there...smiling while you're waiting for us to meet. Don't be discouraged. Everything is going to be so worth the wait. The world is waiting for us. In the meantime, remember...Every Day is a Gift...there's one less day until we meet.
