You can find pretty and smart walking down the street every day, so the special ones possess the ability to understand an individual's complexities in the midst of this chaotic world. Truly understanding another leads to true respect and eventually true love.

I enjoy a variety of activities; there isn’t much that I will not do as long as the experience is fresh and interesting. I enjoy most activities outdoors that involve some sort of physical involvement, like hiking and bicycling, and even scuba diving. I like to travel and given the time would do more and see as much of the world as possible.

My professional background is very broad, from Linguist to Engineer to Research Scientist to Consultant. I have placed a very high value on obtaining an education, but also know that some of the best that life has to offer comes from the simple things. My career has been foremost in my life, and now I am seeking a little more balance.

Our first date would be more of an encounter in a low-stress environment, an hour or so to introduce ourselves over a cup of coffee, for example. If any type of connection is made we plan to share an activity that we both enjoy.
