I am a 49 yr old single dad who is here looking for a chance to meet some new people with the hopes and desires of something turning into a long term relationship.Let's see where it goes.
I am looking to have an open and honest conversation with someone who likes to have fun, witty, stimulating,intelligent and down to earth conversations.Someone who can carry on a conversation in what she believes in, not someone who just agrees for the sake of agreeing.
I like to talk about family, friends, current issues and events or just about anything that will require open and honest communications.I would like to speak with someone who is warm,caring,compassionate and does not like head games. I have been in a few of those in my life and I am getting pretty tired of it. I do not play those games and I hope you don't want to play them either, because if you do just keep on surfing as I am not interested in any of that.Already have to many T-Shirts that I don't want anymore, and don't want to add to the collection either.
I have two daughters aged 22 and 20.I have raised them on my own. The oldest is own her own now and the youngest (still lives with me while she finishes school) only has another 2 years of NSCC left and then she will be on her own as well.
Now that my duty as a parent is almost finished, (in their current stage of life, as a parent's duty is never done lol....) I am now going to have "ME TIME" with the goal to make some new friends of my own, somone who I can share some of ( or maybe all of ) my time with and hopefully you feel the same way.Someone who just likes to take everyday in stride and live it to the fullest potential.
Looking for someone who loves the outdoors, camping, fishing, or just likes to hang with family and friends. Family and friends are very important to me and should be your priority as well. I truly don't sweat the small stuff anymore as I value life to much to worry about the small things in life. Not that I don't deal with them, as the small things can grow to bigger issues I just don't let that happen.
I believe that open and honest communications is the foundation of any and all relationships and I am looking at starting there and see where this foundation can be built and see how strong it can become so it can withstand all the trials and tribulations life has to offer us.

I would like to pack a picnic lunch and head for the beach. I would love to be able to sit there and listen to the waves break on the beach as we eat our picnic and maybe have a sip of wine with it. After the meal we would sit there just talking and watching the sun set looking for that one special shooting star we can make a wish upon. Maybe that wish will come true if we wish for the same thing....lol
Or maybe just go out for the normal thing...coffee, tea, hot choclate, me....hehehehehe......lol.....etc
