(5/24/2006) I defected from Yahoo, True and Match.com to try out Plenty Of Fish.
(5 days later) I tried this site for a few days and was surprised, it was totally legitimate. I even got an email from someone.... and wow ! it wasn't a scam ad like all the other sites. Plus no SPAM... now I am really impressed
POF only has room to upload 8 photos. I am quite the shutterbug. I have taken thousands of pictures (no, not of myself silly...) if anyone would like to see about 300 photos of Hawaii and stuff, some really cute kids doing hula too... here is my personal website.

Ok, so here we go....some info about me.
I am one of those "nice guys" that ALL the women say they want to meet
, but for whatever reason I cant seem to meet a special woman that is serious about that statement. I have met a number of prejudice people too that make judgements about you even before you start talking. Now I understand why so many women never bother to post their photos. Photos do not tell the quality and depth of your heart and soul. Prejudice is about more than just skin color. Its about making decisions without all of the facts. Ok, I can admit it, maybe I am just not GQ enough... (a blind date actually told me that once) of course there has to be some attraction, but I find it so important to AT LEAST investigate the quality of a persons personality before you think they are not good enough for you.
Should I take my photos off too ?
my photos alone will NOT tell you that I love gardening, dancing, cooking, remodeling, helping the homeless, God, my mother and humanity in general.
my photos will NOT tell you that I am the executive director of a technology based non profit org (I'm a geek), that I work with the homeless daily in supporting over 4,000 people, or that I work with multiple other non profit orgs and provide technology services to them.
my photos will NOT tell you that I have taught over 5,000 children in a classroom, that my neighbors trust me enough to ask me to baby sit their 3 kids, that I saved 3 families from bankruptcy, started and ran a successful business or that I saved the lives of more than a dozen people.
my photos will NOT tell you that I have a few quirks: I hate looking out a dirty window and therefore am often cleaning them, and that I think people who leave the shopping carts scattered in the parking lot are some of the laziest people on the planet, and I make it a point to put my (and their) carts back, sometimes exaggerating the point of how lazy they are.
my photos will NOT tell you that I can write software in 8 computer languages, or that I am learning multiple human languages including Japanese, French, German, and American Sign Language, or that I used to be a distance runner, snowboard and ski instructor, and a break dancer.
my photos will NOT tell you that I am completely faithful in a relationship, that I have never cheated on anyone, that I look forward to pleasing my lady with candles, dinners and great back rubs, and that I enjoy holding hands.
I am looking to meet some people to hang out with, talk story, learn from and develop friendships and relationships with. But somewhere out there is one woman with (long?) dark hair that will look past the first 10 seconds of who I am. I will never need to explain why I am the way I am. She will be willing and wanting to learn and experience it all first hand.
Also, for whatever reason, I am drawn to Asian women. Ever since I was a child. I remember being like 9 years old and watching Zoom on PBS and thinking the Asian girl on the show was just the most beautiful thing I had ever seen in my life. (even more than my dirt bike) hehehe. I still remember that silly butterfly arm trick she used to do.
drop me a line... Take the chance..... It could be the start of something profoundly and passionately wonderful.
