**UPDATE!** Well, I've made it! I am finally living in Louisiana. This is going to take some getting used to for this Texas girl, but I'm up for the challenge. Classes are going wonderful at Aveda. I've never felt so positive about my future... Sometimes to find yourself where you are meant to be, you have to take a few risks!

After being on this site for awhile, I decided that I needed to write something new here... I need to clarify a few things.

I am genuinely interested in getting to know someone special. I am fascinated by meeting new people. However, that said... I probably won't respond to messages saying "You're hot" or "Hey baby." Don't get me wrong, a girl likes to be complimented, but you've got to get my attention. (By being clever or witty or interesting, not by being vulgar)

I am stubborn. You should be too, it makes things interesting.
I am spontaneous. You have to be willing to drive a couple hours and find an adventure.
I love all animals. Pulling over on the side of the road to rescue stray dogs/cats will be a normal part of your life.
I know how to have fun, but I have morals. You have to respect what few boundaries I have, and we'll get along just fine.
I'm not the kind of girl to wait around. If you think you like me, you better grab on. I'm not the kind of girl who sits by the phone for days waiting for you to call, or texts you desperately awaiting a response.
I am looking for a real relationship. (I'm not talking married in three weeks type of thing, but...) If I want to go out and get wasted with a million people crowded around a bar, I can do that single. If I wanted to jump in the sack the first night I met someone, I could do that single... Don't get me wrong, I like going out. I like having a good time, but I'm looking for a relationship because I also like those lazy days when you just cuddle up and watch movies all day and don't get out of your pajamas. That I can do single... but it's not so depressing when you've got someone else to cuddle up with.

OK. I'm done. That's a lot more information than I previously gave... so hopefully I'll have better luck with the quality of guys that want to get to know me. =)
