DOES THIS SITE REALLY WORK FOR ANYBODY? I've looked at profiles, written to ladies, updated my pictures, searched, browsed, used the My Matches, filtered, poked, prodded, gone above and beyond what my normal travel/dating range would be, and I've checked out who's looked at me. BUT TO NO AVAIL!

To all the girls here on POF.com... What's up? Where's the general feeling of 'What the heck, I'll give him a try just to see what happens.' ??? Why not even a short note saying, 'Thanks but no thanks?'

Also, if I'm beyond your travel/dating/search range, and you've got your emails set to refuse me based on this criteria, why bother looking at my profile to begin with?

I'm mostly looking for caucasian girls between 18 and 30 years old within a 75 mile radius(or approximately an hour or less drive away) of Anniston, AL. But if I think you're cute, or interesting, neither of those requirements are set in stone.

Otherwise, I'm just your average former Army guy. I returned to Alabama November 2008 after 3 lonely years in Alaska and serving 14 years in the Army National Guard of 3 different states as a Military Policeman. I enjoy traveling. I've been to more than five countries and just about every state in the US. Yes Iraq and Kuwait are on that list, I did my war tour in 2004-2005. My father was in the Active Duty US Air Force for my whole childhood so we moved every four to five years. I don't mind driving since I (I mean the bank) own a 2007 Dodge Charger R/T. But, I prefer to fly when the destination takes more than a day or two to drive there. Why, you ask? It's because I am extremely experienced with long distance/cross country road trips and I'm pretty tired of doing them. I was born in Anniston and have returned here several times in my life. I've kinda settled down here again, but I do tend to move where the winds blow me.

I've got two college degrees from schools here in Northeast Alabama. A Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice concentrating in Forensic Investigations from Jacksonville State University in J'ville AL. Class of 2001. I also had a double minor in English and Military Science there as well. I recieved an Associate of Science in Criminal Justice from Gadsden State Community College at the satellite campus here in Anniston, AL. I graduated from there in 1999.

Well, the usual, dinner, talking, maybe a drink or two. It all depends on what there is to do. I'm not really familiar with Alabama anymore. I've been away from civilization for so long, and haven't dated in such a long time, that you will need to suggest something.
